Trained as a civil engineer, Boris was leading an urban renaissance in Milwaukee through condo development within six years of his arrival from the Soviet Union. He has always had a passion for buildings, and is the creative genius that makes our buildings taller, more efficient, and economically viable, with an uncanny ability to visualize buildings on vacant sites.
His prowess in engineering solutions is equally matched by his ability to tell incredible, and hilarious, stories.

Our ideas are informed by experience.
For decades, our founders have been developing innovative projects that have transformed neighborhoods and reimagined what is possible with engineering and product development. Urban revitalization and condo development. Public arts projects. The first to use light gauge steel for multi-family in Wisconsin. The first to use radiant hydronic HVAC systems in WI. The largest residential VRF plant in North America.
And, of course, the world’s tallest mass timber building.
Our long-term hold investment philosophy results in built environments that are designed to last, focused on quality and an inspirational human experience.
